In partnership with Sydney Festival, C-A-C presented the Mission Songs Project – 1957 Palm Island Strike led by Jessie Lloyd.

The live music event was an initiative to revive contemporary Indigenous Folk songs from the 20th century. The work was developed during Jessie Lloyd’s two week artist residency at C-A-C in 2017.

In 2018 Jessie and her team returned to perform a season of Mission Songs Project as part of Sydney Festival 2018.
